Re: A Peeling

Neat idea to show three different areas. Was the paint peeling on that interior door also, or did you add that? Just curious.

Re: A Peeling

Derek trully i don't understand how you achieve these results in your paintings! This is magic! You have very unique style. I recognize your paintings from miles away! All of your paintings are amzing and very inspirational for me! You do something with the details and with the light and collours and you make them much much better than the reference. You are creating an ideal world!
I could pay for one wip of yours!

Re: A Peeling

.
Your works were always amazing!!!! They are a delight , inspiring and motivating .
This piece in particular strikes a cord in me . For , it runs parallel to the events of past few days , A nice ,do gooder of a mother has just lost her dear daughter . I cannot fathom her pain . and feel helpless. Parents had done all they could ,in their own way , had started a school for their daughter to run ,just so that may keep her occupied .[as daughter had personal problems and was going through a difficult phase.]
This painting ,reflects in my minds eye , of a life's' journey . It represents the stoic ,resolute strength to face and absorb life's events , unwavered by the decay around. Each life is unique , each a story. Just as each of your paintings are unique and tell a story.

Dcam , I admire your tenacity and positive nature .Very similar to dear Nancy .
I shall pray for the odds to be in your favour ' . Take good care of yourself bro'
Thank you , for sharing this precious piece of art'

Re: A Peeling

What most amazes me is that beautiful little landscape seen through the windows. Masterful!

White: what a wonderful comment. Thanks very much.

Don: thanks for stopping by. That little window in the back looked out on an ugly parking lot. I had to make up the wee landscape. I appreciate it.

if you move the door a little to the side, it could be a mirror.
as the front glass reflection has could indicate it.
i tried to make the illusion of that and it work well.
