it got away from me

When ever I paint, oils, digital, whatever, I do a lot of prep work. I do it on the computer*because it is easier. *I have various color studies, tonal sketch etc. This started out as prep work for an oil painting, which will follow but it sort of got away from me...LOL... The more I played, the more I was playing with thick paints, *texture cloning , drip brushes , loads of layers and all sorts of good things. The painting was free hand with a trace sketch. I love using the texture cloning for getting subtle mixes of colors like on the house. It just added so much character. *I don't think I have been this excited with a new release of Corel Painter in a long time. Even with all the burps I had with it.

Thanks for looking!

Barb

Yes B'anna you are definately getting to grips with those textures and tools in painter 2018, a nice painting, and no paint splashed to clean up either.
