This is a portrait with four people: my wife, and three of our children. We took a five month holiday leaving from our Pacific north town right on the ocean in British Columbia, Canada…and going down to the lowest portion of the Atlantic in southern Florida, U.S.A. We took our time all the way down and on a different route returning. When we left Canada at the bottom of the province of Alberta we went through Nebraska and this photo was taken while we were in that state. When we travelled outside of Canada, we took our time going no more than 100 miles on any day and staying for days if there was plenty to see. This portrait is one of our slow days as we found many places where we were the only people in sight since it wasn’t quite summer yet…
This is a watercolour on 22″ x 30″ Bienfang paper.:crossfingers:November 17, 2019 at 8:17 am #908447looking forward to seeing this develop.

My inspiration is art... because without art, we would just be stuck with reality. ~Daniel R. Lynch

Thanks Mary; it will be a challenge on the background, but there should be a straight bit of work with four of the family members in a variety of coloured clothes!

Looking forward to the progress on this one, Jon.I’m thankful for the time to take photos of “everything” which was good to look back on and the older cameras from the last century was quite a bit different than todays technology.
