Re: Stoney Creek Crossing

It's been awhile since I posted an update...but I have been working on this one
I'm still in the ugly roughing in stage...a ways to go but with each scratch, I'm getting closer.

Becky...thanks it looks better in person

Pkdraws...thank you...I just hope it continues in that direction!

Ginger...he's got feets and a face....both need more work....but it's getting there!

Harry...did you say commendable or Committable? I'm thinking it might be leaning to the latter! Thank you Sir!

Terri...I took your advice and washed my glasses and hands...and it STILL needs a LOT of work! thank you Sweetheart!!!!

More to come...but I do believe ill be heading to Chicago today...the wife is getting antsy...you know...it's been a month since Christmas...and she's having shopping withdrawals!!!!!!

Here's where it's at at the moment. Sorry about the low quality pic!

And an ugly face shot...

Re: Stoney Creek Crossing

Absolutely wonderful!!! Excellent dimension!! And BTW, great shift of subject mid stream. You must share how you got the original piece to look like a goofy guy in a hat.

Allan, every time you do a piece, I am so anxious to see it as you always nail it and the ride along the way is a beautiful thing. This piece is fantastic!

You've really got a great piece going on here Allan. Just looking at and thinking about doing that creek bed makes me break a sweat.

Re: Stoney Creek Crossing

im not!!!!
im much "happier" on the five by sevens!
Btw...the family and I went to Chicago this last weekend. As I sat outside in the car at the hotel while the wife checked us in...guess what I just happened to see across the street from the hotel...a Dick Blick store
Oh yeah...guess who spent a bunch of bucks on a bunch of boards...Needless to say, I told the wife I'd gladly go back " shopping" in Chicago with her again I think I spent more than her on this trip

Looking fabuloussss, Allan! That gravel was a pain, I know (and you have my sympathy), but worth it and wolfie is lookin' great.

I'm proud of you for tackling a 9 x 12!!

Glad you had fun shopping in Chicago and stocked up on boards
