La Moraine

This an acrylic painting in which I made individual acrylic skin pours on both a mirror and on a glass surface. When peeled off the surface, either side of the "skins" can be used. Both sides show different dramatic effects. Then I adhered the various skins to the canvas with a gloss medium as in doing a collage. The sky was painted with an iridescent paint. I've been trying to find a technique in which I can control the pours.

Re: La Moraine

Have you tried poking at the pours with a painting knife?
A painting is never really done as long as I can get my hands on it.

Re: La Moraine

I've made skins in this way too - double the chances of nice effects!

I like the painting you've created with them.
