                            This may be one of my favorites of yours! The composition is beautiful, your colors are well-thought out, and the subject matter is, of course, just wonderful. I love the textures of the old wood, too. The fact that there’s ancient hay languishing in the barn is also so accurate. Most old barns around here are still stuffed with hay that will never be eaten.

                                    Hud – Thanks for the comment! I spent my teens in New Mexico, and go back often. I have always been fascinated by the feel of the place (Especially the Tularosa Basin)

                                            Jo – Thank you! As I said to Kay, we seem to share an affinity. I live E of Austin, and go up to NM whenever I can.

                                            Jenna – Thank you! Yes these places speak. When I wasteaching myself to draw (around 11) I was fascinated with the pattern in wood – still am.
