The composition is beautiful, your colors are well-thought out, and the subject matter is, of course, just wonderful. I love the textures of the old wood, too. The fact that there’s ancient hay languishing in the barn is also so accurate. Most old barns around here are still stuffed with hay that will never be eaten.

Jenna – Thank you! Yes these places speak. When I wasteaching myself to draw (around 11) I was fascinated with the pattern in wood – still am.
