Re: Supplies while sketching/journaling - version 2

Hi!
This is an excellent thread, great information!!!
I would like some help. I am looking for ideas for my sketchbook.
I would like to clip it to some type of backing like Masonite, and be able to attach a small watercolor pallet. I have seen some examples here on WC but of course I can't find them now, and don't know what to search for.
Hope someone here can guide me in the right direction, or better still show me a photo of your setup. I have some ideas, but sure the experts here will be able to help me get started!! Thanks!!!!

The artist James Gurney uses a folding one that, I believe, he made. You can Google him,

Re: Supplies while sketching/journaling - version 2

After looking at wonderful ideas form wetcanvas members I end up with this set up. It is part of my tiny set for sketching outdoors

I cut piece of thick cardboard (leftover from sketching pad) long enough for me to attach to both sketchbook and palette. It works well with waterbrush for quick sketches

Sylwia you mentioned seeing other examples on WC. Would you still have any of those links. I get nowhere when I search mainly because I don't know what it is called that I need to search for. I have tried sketchbook easel, sketchbook pallet etc
Meant to thank you for the photos of your setup!!!
