Re: * Round the Campfire - August*

Thanks everyone for the good wishes, we're fine here.

I was so excited to see Jenna drawing again. Jenna I totally understand about losing your muse. I think the hot weather this summer has people totally zapped. They even got up into the 100's in Canada and even Russia is burning up. It's been a strange year weatherwise.

We had another monsoon rain yesterday that dropped our temps from the 90's to 78o, and all this will happen in a space of 30 minutes. Nature is an amazing thing.

Wed. we went to Tucson to visit my sister and her husband. Joan and I played bingo and then went and gambled in the casino. She has MS and that's about the only recreation she can do. Ran into several old friends there and we had a good time. I also took her up a bag of novels that I had already read.

You know I sure don't miss having to deal with all the traffic up there. It is so nice to get back home to country living. Ok, off to look around...........Lenore
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in, broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, WOW, What a ride! Anonymous -MRSBB (Lenore)
