Ode To Maxfield

The "Morgana" series led me to my love of Parrish. Tho there is a figure, it is mainly a landscape. Orig size appx 14x18"

Yes the light is great and so is the figure. Really fine drawing, great hands and feet.

L Skylar Brown....this is habdled so well. Love the filtration of light breaking through the forest canopy. ( love tp paint this type of scene as well)
The figure is painted beautifully too with the light reflecting off her face. Love this.

BC - Thank you! Often times, I fail to detail hands and feet. (This time, I really wanted to do a good job.)

Thank you so much, Heather!

John - Thank you! That canopy of light is something with which I have toyed over time. I think I have hit upon the look I wanted. Figures are my favorite.

Re: Ode To Maxfield

OldnMartist - Thanks for commenting. This is, of course, not a copy of Parrish, but an Homage - using setting and figure similar to the artist's.

Re: Ode To Maxfield

Hi, Jerry. I'm sorry nothing is pasted. The figure was on one of my open source ref. sites, and isn't Parrish's, but situated as he would do.
