Question Articles?

I used to be pretty active on WC! years ago - just came back for a peek and wonder what happened to all the wonderful articles that were published? In particular, I was looking for the articles written by Nicholas Simmons (nes7827). I was fortunate enough to meet him and Olga several times, and take his workshop.

Still hard to believe he's been gone from this life for over 2 years already.

If the links are still live, will someone post them in this thread?

Thanks!

Re: Articles?

Hi Mary Lou, Nice to see you again.

The articles are under the drop down menu in the Contents tab on the top blue bar of every page.

Or you can click on this link..Article Index. Scroll down to the watercolor section and you'll see Nicholas's articles. Bear in mind they are a bit slow to load.

Hope that helps.

Re: Articles?

Thank you Virginia! It must be my browser, the content area doesn't have a drop down list - thank you for the link! I'll bookmark it now...

Thanks again!

Re: Articles?

Welcome back Mary Lou, you will find the Article system is somewhat broken. Links to further pages sometimes don't work.

There is a workaround however.

Re: Articles?

Thanks Doug! I was going to post today that the articles only show the first page - I'll try your workaround - thanks so much!

The link is working. However the articles need around 1min to load, vs instant loading of the wetcanvas forum.

Testet them with the PC chrome and firefox browser.

Then after the article is loaded I don't see any kind of buttons to go to the next page.

Like this is how I see the article from Gaka, see attachment: http://www.wetcanvas.com/Articles2/14892/390/

Re: Articles?

Yes, the Article server seems exceedingly slow but further pages eventually show up.
