Thanks Gay. I enjoy enjoy doing these color thumb nail sketches. Thinking of them as doodles usually helps keep my open to possibilities.

Thanks Ken. The trash day may not become a painting but the first snow scene seems like it may. This approach is helpful in simplifying.

I’m thinking you should develop First Snow into a full scale painting. I really like the sketch.

Thanks Tom. I like the idea of exploring the "First Snow" but I still do not have a good area of how to suggest the bare branches. Once I get a mental picture, I will give it a try. Gary
