Pretty happy with how this one turned out. I thought it was interesting when I took the picture for the reference photo how all of the perspective lines lead the eye throughout the scene all the way back to the more detailed and lighter valued building. I have never painted snow before and that was a challenge to me to say the least.
I have been painting alot because I had to have surgery on my foot and am off work for a few weeks. Still can’t put weight on it and am going mad not being able to get out and run…

I'M NOT AS THINK AS YOU DRUNK I AMOctober 28, 2019 at 8:24 am #899475Excellent scene, Wes. A little touch of MC Escher with all that complicated perspective. It must have been quite difficult to keep track of it, but you have managed it very well. I like the snow, too. Hope your foot gets better soon!

ArnieNovember 3, 2019 at 9:56 am #899466I’m so not used to being in large city that I find myself drawn to the snow in this. Love the snow- the bit of nature that anchors those enormous buildings.

Unfortunately, we see snow way too often in Cleveland…. I don’t mind it until mid January comes around…
