Kingfisher

This was a commissioned painting for my brother. It was pure joy to paint it and really hard to part with..! I love the colours of nature.

I can see why you had a hard time letting this go, Esther, but at least you know where it "lives" now. You did such beautiful work on both the bird and the background and I'm sure your brother loves it!

Thanks for your comments - the background was the most difficult for me to do, but it turned out well. And my brother was really happy, see the picture of him and me together.
