Portrait- Marker and Charcoal

I used marker for the colored areas even some of the black and charcoal for the skin. The markers i used were just regular crayola markers on water color paper. 9 X 12

The "shine" effect you got on the colored areas is really good. Is this someone you know, or a fantasy woman? The portrait looks like it would be a good book cover for a mystery, romantic comedy style
