“Texas Bluebonnet” This is a record year for bluebonnets. I can’t drive with a broken foot to view them but I can paint one from a photo I took last year. This is a 4×6″ postcard size painting in Winsor Newton oils on a Fredrix cut edge canvas panel. Comments always welcome.

Kay, A friend has invited me to join her on an excursion Friday from Victoria, Texas to Luling where we will visit the Luling Lavender Farm. Hope to see lots of bluebonnets on our way, and Spanish lavender in bloom at Luling. Foot is much better, did some gardening today while wearing “the boot.” Shhhh, don’t tell my podiatrist! My appointment is April 5 and I’m looking forward to discarding “the boot.”
