Copper & Brass coating?

I am making a dollhouse size toy kitchen sink module(Suzy Sink).
I am making the sink nozzle out of 1/8 and 5/16 Dia. brass rod. I polished the brass up to 6000 micro-mesh. I also have Escutcheon pins for the pretend knobs.
Everytime I try to add a picture to this thread, it says if failed, even if I try to put a picture on that I have already added to another thread.

I bought some Winsor & Newton Oil Colur Liquin Light Gel to coat the brass.
Do any of you ever coat your jewelry?

Not sure why you're having problems with adding the picture (would LOVE to see it!). I use Renaissance wax to seal copper and brass. I haven't heard of the stuff you use - off to Google!
