Yes, yes you are.
That is a gorgeous otter. The amount of detail you have in there is incredible.

Great work with your Little Otter, with a lovely lot of detail. Miniature art is VERY addictive.

Re: Little Otter (xpost D&S)

I'm so happy to be able to share my addiction with you ! I typically paint ACEOs and the only time I've ever painted as small as this lovely Otter is a single object...not a WHOLE painting! Wonderful and lifelike and extraordinary! Thank you for sharing your talent with us

Margarete

Thanks Margarete.

Aceo's are a nice size to work on, if only I could stick to them.

I seem to keep going smaller

Forgive my question born out of ignorance: what are ACEOs?

Gorgeous picture - I love the details!

Re: Little Otter (xpost D&S)

Doomed? Oh yes, totally. We sit in our little studio areas with sharp pointy pencils or brushes with a single hair, creating little pictures with details that few will see, but oh, how satisfying it all is! Ady (Happy to be doomed!)

Re: Little Otter (xpost D&S)

I like my pencils so sharp when my son asked me what I wanted for my birthday I told him a really really good sharpener.

Barbareolo ACEO's are Art Cards Edition and Originals. They are playing card size, 2.5 by 3.5 inches and can be any medium.
