Another good (I hope) article on artist website builders...

This article, "6 Artist-Approved Platforms for Building Your Website," actually looks pretty good. Some of the approaches are creative and it offers quite a few different possibilities, including at least one open-source:

With Weebly is very easy to build a site and the paid plan has options for selling directly from your website, no coding required.

I'm using SiteSpinner to build a new site. It has a free option or you can purchase the full program. The freebie has everything you need for wysiwyg. Plenty of formats that you just fill in with your words and images too.

I used Muse before that at $15 a month but decided to forego its use. A wonderful program but you could purchase another by the time you pay a subscription price for several years.
