Re: Dirty South sailing

This sold yesterday. A LOT of people really wanted this. I can't say pencil drawing's are cost effective though because they take so much time. I bought a nice set of 12 Staedtler mars Lumograph today for the next one to give me a wider range of Value. It is the rendering of the sea in the last two sold pencil drawings that impressed buyers. I personally think all these pencil portraits you see on here are a waste of time unless you plan to market commissions, sold money up front or you plan to do them very quickly with live models or your just doing it as a hobby. Good luck getting enough pencil portrait commissions for it to be viable unless you are very well known and you already have a large customer base of collectors ringing your phone off the hook...That's just my opinion. I could be wrong. There are a lot better artists than me on here.
