Another good, apt, painting.Thank you Mum, there is so much, so many options to paint ‘comment’ about what’s happening and I have resisted…..but, this one felt right.
It is only a matter of time until branded anti-virus-apparel hits the high street.March 22, 2020 at 9:56 am #963490Some day someone should make a book of your paintings, the world through Dave’s eyes.

Every painting is a new adventure.March 22, 2020 at 1:08 pm #963489Great idea, Dave – Whew! A great comment on our society and the fashion industry.
I’ll take the Shell one! For some reason that one really tickles my funnybone, and it’s a brilliant touch, placing it at the bottom, that’s the last thing the viewer sees (as the absurdity of the humor increases).
Great to see something to smile about these days, in the midst of all that’s going on. You did it!

March 26, 2020 at 1:52 am #963494Interesting idea! Where do you come up with these?
P.S., I started a thread on the Cafe Guerbois forum as a gathering place for artists who are making art in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Your piece would suit it perfectly, and I would love it if you dropped in and posted it there too:
Art: Documenting the Moment. It is kind of a real time response to this overwhelming time we find ourselves in.
The same shout out goes to anyone reading this who finds they are making art that is influenced by the current situation. Feel free to post your work there as well, if you would like.
