Lana Ballot (a member of our dusty forum) has a wonderful article that describes her painting process in Gail Sibley’s blog this month. Lana explains how she uses underpaintings to set the tone for temperature contrasts in her work and also gives tips for successfully painting sunsets. Her work is so beautiful and I hope you will find her thoughts as helpful as I do!

I have a white dog and lots of pastels...but are any of them the right color when I need them to be?
