Whit Beck - Cumbria

This scene is looking across from the path up Skiddaw towards Low Rigg and High Rigg with Clough Head and Great Dodd in the distance.
Position is about 1hours walk from Keswick, just into the steep part of the walk. On top we walked thru a blizzard with drifting snow.
18x14 Oil on canvas all C&C welcome. Thanks Arnie

Hi Arnie,
Wow, I love the variations in the green hillsides. Your cloudwork in the skies is pretty nice looking too Arnie.

Your painting is beautiful! Great distance and really like the colors and softness of your greens - feel as though I could step right in. A peaceful scene.

Thank you all for your comments - much appreciated. I was trying to create a scene that the viewer would want to walk into and your comments reflect that. Thanks Arnie.
