From Mud to Form

Hello,

I was instructed to stay home a couple of days to rest, and started dabbing on the canvas. This is my progress so far, I don't know when I will have the chance again to continue working on it, but here it is before I decide to continue, or just toss it in the trash.

Thanks for watching.

Thanks, I am having some difficulty modeling her nose. For some reason, the blending is so confusing when trying to emulate it from the photo.

This is a painting i reproduced many years ago using WMO and the seven layer flemish technique. I seem to remember the bridge of the nose fading onto the left hand cheek as the hardest bit to get right. But in the end patience got me there. It was a fun project that took 6 months. I wish you well on your completion. Here is my effort taken with crappy iphone 4.
