30×22 mixed media (watercolor, acrylics, gouache, ink) on 140 lb. Lanaquerelle hot press paper done today. This is the third time it has been revived and reworked and had a white bg before; a more pink umbrella can be seen now, not this orangey. Abstract shapes/colors were added to the sides of the woman. I left the patterning intact on her costume but did glaze with diluted gouache.

I’d love to see that pattern all over the outfit! Good colors in foreground, seeing a lot of thought went into the color scheme. Enjoying the painting as a whole. Cool pallet, again.

It’s hard to tell from the photo what the different media are. I love watercolours too.

Ahhh…a lot of the colors are have slightly cooler undertones than I thought, which beautifully balances out those HOT HOT HOT hues!!
