This is incredibly precise for pastels!!! The only other pastelist Iíve seen who tackles botanical subjects with crisp detail is Lyn Diefenbach (beautiful work: http://ldief.com/ ). Iím just starting in pastel and Iím having a hard time finding classes or resources to learn more precise techniques. Do you have any recommendations that are in book form or online?

heartwarriorpath, I would suggest you find an artist you want to emulate and see if you can go to one of their workshops. I attended a couple of workshops with Dianna Ponting. I was really lucky in that she lives not to far from me. She was incredibly generous with her knowledge and a great instructor not to mention a fabulous artist.
