            This is excellent with such a great palette of varied greens set against the wonderful sky. Looks like a beautiful day and of course the staggering varied height of the trees has my eye moving across the piece and works well. ( the addition of the burnt sienna is wonderful )

                I think you’ve got this kind of scenery down pat!

                Everything else being equal, I would rather be in the painting zone.

                    Thank you John and Oldn. I am a Florida native. I’ve painted wild Florida for 60 years. I always wished I could paint Florida as well as Herman Herzog. He was a master.

                        Looks great, Linda and captures the feeling of Merritt Island NWR. I’m there all the time doing bird photography but I haven’t taken my plein air materials there.

                                I just see those palm trees peaking their heads above the surrounding shrubs, as if curious, lol! Lovely, sunny painting, with your usual style of awesome trees with character.

                                    Paintings I’ve seen at our Michael’s have been…… less than impressive, so kudos to yours for getting in someone of your calibre! Lovely dazzling light.

                                        Thank you Matthew and Wendy. The general manager of the Michaels is one of my collectors. He and the regional manager encourage me to come in and do demos. They have a real appreciation for fine art.
