Re: 'Round the Campfire ~ October

Sheila- those photos are really neat! wow, fun stuff...

Winter storm warning for us tonight and rest of weekend...5- 13 inches possible....haha....I dont think the weather forecasters really have any idea how much snow we can expect Hopefully, the snow will at least melt and soak into our dry ground rather than just blow away to Nebraska

You all have a great weekend!

Re: 'Round the Campfire ~ October

Wow yesterday it was 81 here, sunny with no wind. Today, not so nice in the 30s but should warm up to 50.

Stay warm, Jenna!

Re: 'Round the Campfire ~ October

Ron, if you're going to let the wind blow your snow away, blow it toward California! We're desperately dry with lots of fires. No rain (or snow) in the forecast for next 10 days. Power was shut off to nearly 1 million people for 2 days and came back on at my place at noon today. Unfortunately, they are expecting more wind tomorrow and may shut down power again. Very political. If our power company lived in Wyoming, they would NEVER turn the power on! They don't know what wind is. They call 30-40 mph wind "unprecedented". Nuts!

Had a good time at Lake Tahoe and even got a little painting done. Had a big ol' brown bear show up right outside my condo a couple of nights. He was looking for something to eat. I didn't share.

Studio Tour coming up Nov. 8-10. Hopefully, we will have power!

Have fun!

Rick, wow. So sad, the fire can spread so fast with just a little wind. Stay safe. If they tell you to go, just go. That saved so many lives here.

Hi everyone else.

Sheila, fun photos and ideas. Thanks.

I'm not ready for cold, that is why we are here. It was about 70 today but gloomy and cloudy. We had some rain last weekend about 2 inches here. We need more to keep up with the average.

Still sketching, no painting. Have a good week.

Re: 'Round the Campfire ~ October

Still cloudy, cold, and wet with some fog for the 3rd day in a row. My cats are starting to go stir crazy and so am I. But this afternoon I'm going to go east of town and do some art with two others in our art club and one of the gals is making a pumpkin pie. Yum!

36 degrees this morning. Yikes. Of course it will be in the 60s later. :-) Feeling the gloom here, too, Kay. We did get a little rain night before last. Much needed.

Happy Halloween Everybody. Boo!

We beat that here, Jo, with 18 degrees then it warmed up to 50s and kitty Chuy got to go outside. A happy cat is worth a million LOL!

You must be in AZ, Richard...

Enjoy your studio tour Rick. Those are always fun.

Happy Halloween to all of you. So glad InkTober is over!
