    Hi
I wasn’t sure whether to post this on printmaking or clay!

I’ve been experimenting with printmaking and would like to put designs on tiles. My thought is to make the tiles, but I wasnt sure about whether to screen print directly on to the tile or whether to get some decals printed? Has anyone any advise or examples? Thank you.

There is a way to screen print on tiles . It’s called sublimation. It rather
Complicated way to work. I suggest you try decals

Silkscreen. If the picture/design is more complex, use a photo-resist. You could paint directly onto the silk if it is simple. You would put the tile under the screen and use the squeegee to push through your tile glaze. People did this way back in the 1800s without fancy camera equipment so you can too.

Print legitimately onto tiles with VersaUV printers or make printed illustrations for color sublimation heat move application with Texart or sublimation printer that are suggested by reviews expert[/URL]. I have personally used sawgrass printer for my kitchen tiles.
