Wink Hola from Mexico

Wondering if anyone knows whether Tony Couch uses heavy 300 lb paper or 140 lb?? I know from watching a few videos he's likes to wet both sides of a full sheet of watercolor paper, but can't find the info about the weight.. Anyone taken his workshops?? Just curious. I had his book Watercolor You Can Do It, many moons ago but no longer have it. Thanks PVLee.

Re: Hola from Mexico

Sounds like it should be wetting both sides.
I hope you find your answer.

Re: Hola from Mexico

300lb paper absorbs a lot more water and if you are working wet in wet best to wet the back too. It also helps the paper lie flat on the board.

Check out the watercolor links on my signature for masses of advice.
