This is my version of the dragonfly inspired by Klee:

About 20 x 28 cm, gouache on trace monotype on brown paper, after less than 2 hours (not including the time I have browsed through Klee’s paintings). My favourite paintings by Klee are those with fractured colours and the dragonfly seemed to lend itself to try to use that technique.
        C & c welcome.

This has worked well. Those greens are so well contrasted by the ground colour. It has that muted jewel box feeling of many of Klee’s paintings. Thank you for posting this!

                    C&C always welcome.

I love those colours, they work really well against that brown background. Great answer to the challenge. :)
