Copperhead W.I.P.

So I am about to embark on a BIGGER board for sure.

This 18" x 18" board is for a CD cover.(I'm guessin 150 to 200 hours on this.)

I am finished with the artwork but I need a Title for the Albium to finish the template.......and guess what, More BS indecision from the Band.

They are at CRUNCH time and I haven't started yet because they can't make up their minds. Which will in turn make ME that much later while they bitch at me cause I'm not finished yet.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Glove shown for Scale.

Simple solution, tell them that every day they wait and you add more to the price! Don't forget to get exactly what they want written down and signed so they can't change their minds on what you agreed on.

I find that when attempting to negotiate,
or attempting to persuade someone to "see" your urgency in a situation....
Holding a baseball bat while drinking from a fifth seems to speed up people's decision making abilities
Good luck TC....whatever they decide on, I know you'll blow them away

Re: Copperhead W.I.P.

Oh gee look, I Finally have all the info for my Next Board!!!!!

This on is going to be in Color, so I am REALLY REALLY glad I'll be doing the workshop BEFORE I get around to the coloring part.

So Here is what I hope is my final Sketch....The head will need to be a little larger on the Copperhead. But I really like the overall composition and it's going to work well for a front and back continuous cover.
They are springing for an upgraded Packaging so I get to go Bigger & I am happy about that! I'm gonna have to find something else to do with the 18 x 18 board.
All the lettering will appear cast into the rails.
You can't see it all becuase If I don't ink it it doesn't seem to scan very well.

I assure you there are enough rocks in this one to drive anyone Batty!

So this is going to be a 12" x 24" board.

Re: Copperhead W.I.P.

This is gonna be cool!
I used to come in close contact with these guys all the time growing up around my Grandmothers house. 80 acres just along the Shawnee National Forest Park in southern Illinois. My Uncle always said if ya smell garlic or onions....I can't remember which....keep your eyes open cause there's probably a Copperhead around.

I'll be watchin this one for sure! Great sketch, the layout is too cool.

And I was always told smelling cucumbers meant a rattlesnake nest.
