Re: Loki

This looks really good. The little details in this are so well done. That must have taken forever!

Re: Loki

Thanks Virginia!
It did take a little while and one of my downfalls is boredom.
If I look at anything too long, I just can't stand it anymore.
That's why I usually have two to three things going at a time.
But even then....

Re: Loki

The Trickster God should be a little scary...Loki is a complicated character.

Re: Loki

Whether the likeness is good or not is totally up to you. Just using a ref. doesn't mean you can't modify it to your own taste. I do it all the time.
And, like you, I have several pieces going at once.

Re: Loki

Cool. Is that the Loki from Norse legend or from the Forgotton Realms pantheon?

That's really fantastic work! I've tried painting him before; he has a really difficult face to pull off. You've done marvelously.

Re: Loki

L Skylar Brown, yes, having several irons in the fire at the same time is how I like it, that way even if you have to bin one I still have the others.

Oh. I never get to go to the Marvel movies because a Certain Person Whom I Shall Not Name hates superhero movies.

Re: Loki

CassildaInYellow I agree it's his super fine elvish features, the thin lips and that hint of mischief in his eyes, I kind of have a thing for complicated characters.
Tom Hiddleston does great at portraying him!
