Hi bryn, nice job, same coloring as our two.The only thing that stands out to me is the tail looks too thick, but maybe that's the breed?

Looks pretty good, but also very washed out. Try using some darker colors. Since I tend to not use dark enough darks when I'm working, at the end I'll add an adjustment layer for the levels on top of everything to darken what's there and get some contrast.

Thanks every one for your comments,King crimson the tail was fairly thick but when I looked there was a sort of kink that I had missed.Yellow oxide filters are not allowed in painters alley only in digital art.

I like this Bryn! I especially like the colours you have used in the back.

Re: tabby cat & kitten

I'm not sure what you mean by yellow oxide filters.

One of the beauties of Photoshop is that there are ten ways to do any one thing. An adjustment layer changing Hue ... a fiddling with the Channels ... a couple of Variations ... etc etc. All of these are perfectly legit in the Painters Alley, as I understand it, as long as you are modifying the marks that came from your stylus/mouse/touch.
