Re: Scavenger Hunt #271 June 6 - June 14

Jo - Thank you. Cute table. Those are so hard to draw with those criss-crossing legs.

Bonnie - Thanks. Great thinking for superstition. Love the fruit design. Good job on the Lion King magnet.

Stephanie - Those are nice, solid rhino legs! Nice collection of signs.

Kivrin - Thank you. Hope you feel better soon.

EP - Thanks. Yes, there is a sticker on the cover of my passport. I don't know what it is for, but I think it is sort of like the tags on pillows...you don't remove them. lol I like that lunch sketch...but where is the food?

Here are a few from me.
18 - lady (part of a statue) - pencil

19 - unforgetable (I looked for my Nat King Cole album but couldn't find it. Hubby doesn't put the cds back when he plays them, so it could be anywhere. Ben E. King fits here.) pencil

Re: Scavenger Hunt #271 June 6 - June 14

Great job everyone.

Joan: Nice unforgettable and cute lady.

Bonnie: Thanks. That Lion King sounds memorable. Nice horse shoe.

EP: Thanks. Great sketch of people and the recycle bin signs. "water buffalo" gets their names from they need to hang out a lot in mud pit, or muddy river bank. In Thailand, if your farm does not have any wet muddy watersource for the buffalo to sit/sleep in it, you should raise the cows instead. Long time ago, we use waterbuffalo in rice field plowing (its very wet and muddy in rice field). BTW -- the piano tuning alone is charged as per job. However, if you do need to have some parts fixed or replace, you have to pay for those part and/or extra labor.

Stephanies: Lovely boats.

Irwin: Thank you for such an unforgetable Hunt list.

Re: Scavenger Hunt #271 June 6 - June 14

Lots of nice sketches, you folks are are very ambitious...

J:
Like all your sketches... the every day in May and June seem to be working well for you... neat rubber tree plant, love the fruit the color is awesome...

Ai
: Thanks... love the sketches of the family hanging around together, nice water buffalo, I remember them well they were every where... nice job capturing the man tuning the piano... Your sketch book contains so many family images that it will definitely be a treasure worth leaving to the kids... That cake looks delicious, very nice...

Irwin:
Thanks... nice sketch of you relaxing reading your art magazine, very nice sketches.. Thanks for hosting will see you in the next hunt...

Jo: Thanks... Great that you have been to virtually all the states.. When you go to Alaska I am sure you will be impressed it is awesome... glad to see you are such an avid baseball fan.. rooting for your favorite teams can be fun for some odd reason but it is... nice sketches... good choice for unforgettable and complicated... I always stumble with perspective but keep plugging away.... well done on the table perspective

Bonnie: Thanks... good choice on superstition, neat table cloth weights and great unforgetable... Like all your sketches but my favorite is the lion king....

Stephanie:
Nice sketches of the rhino and sings... glad to see you made it into Boston..... the water color sketch of the boat is really quite nice.. good job.... I went to Hyanis the other day and went to the dock... there were so many awesome boat scenes I wanted to sketch but couldn't find any shaded areas the sun was soooo strong that day I just moved along.. another time would be better...

Eyepaint: Thanks ... Yes, I am close to many different beaches and I am thinking that it is probably a great place to get practice sketching people.. I like your sketches... great choice for signs and good sketch of the two girls. If I see any men wandering around down town shirtless I will send them your way

Joan:
Nice sketch of the statue and good choice for unforgettable...

Kivrin: Thanks and hope you get over your cold quickly

See you all at the next hunt

Re: Scavenger Hunt #271 June 6 - June 14

Bonnie, I like the assortment with the Lion King and the horseshoe. Neat ideas.

Stephanie, super legs and Interesting signs. Good job on the watercolor. I'm going to try more on our trip.

Kivrin, hey there. Hope you are feeling better. Thanks on my table.

EP, I especially like the girls at lunch. Gene and I had a laugh over the spoonful of sugar!

Joan, Nat King Cole was perfect for Unforgetable. He is the singer I always think of for that song. Cute lady. I like the cameo and very neat find for jump!

Ai, later.

Paul, we have been all over Canada, too. Missed PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador. We were to Dawson in Yukon so were close to Alaska. We were going to drive this time but decided we had driven that part already. We will drive to Montana when we get back. Visit a bit of B.C., too.

Irwin, again thanks for the Hunt. Very inspiring. See all y'all next Hunt.

This took forever on my iPad. Practicing for the trip!
