Re: What is the history behind your user name?

My use name is the nickname I use in daily life and how old I was when I signed up here.

No one ever pronounced my real name properly, so I use my nickname for everything now. The ironic thing is that most people don't pronounce that properly (for me) either, giving it the more common Le-ah pronunciation, whereas my family always pronounced it Lee despite the a. But at least I like either pronunciation there, whereas for my real name the wrong pronunciations bothered me.

Re: What is the history behind your user name?

The artwork I have produced over the years has many names, starting with my maiden name and the the names of the husbands. Then lately I decided I would chose a name that was me, no mrs someone..... My daughter called me Marmsk, so after a lot of thought, it had to be. Marmsk / Eileen
