Re: Sad news of Maggie Price

I also never had the honor of meeting Maggie, but have long admired her paintings. What a legacy she's left for us to enjoy and remember.

What a shame, she was so nice. My deepest sympathies to her family.

Re: A Place to Remember our WC! Family

Deano - Dean Haven, sadly died October 11, 2014.

Deano was a keen contributor to the Weekend Drawing Events in the All Media Arts Events forum and seldom missed a week. He was a talented artist in a variety of mediums and he and his paintings will be missed for a very long time.

We are saddened by his passing and his tribute thread can be seen here.

A small sample of his works ~

His final painting, October 5th.-

Hi signature painting - from 2004

Typical animal painting from October 2011 -

Re: Gakinme - Sandra

I, too, am very sad to hear of Sandra's passing. She was a great artist who always put her signature style into her work. Her works were often full of humor and fun, brightening up my days with each post. She will be greatly missed.

Here are a few of her artworks. She did so much art, even when she was very sick, that it was hard to choose just a few.
