Title: Subdued
Year Created: 2019
Medium: Oil
Surface: Board
Dimension: 16 x 20
Allow digital alterations?: No, please :)

I just recently began getting acquainted with oils after years of drawing (w/graphite, charcoal, & silverpoint). This piece is one of many more non-representational pieces to come. It's not as layered as it may appear as I'm still in the midst of learning and studying color theory. The inspiration for this non-representational piece comes from within, and isn't meant to mimic anything in our external world/reality, i.e.: nature.

Any honest feedback or constructive criticism is welcomed. PLEASE provide feedback on composition, color, texture, contrast, etc.

Thank you in advance.
