Last glimmer of day is just awesome Richard, what a wonderful painting. An unusual mix of great energy and intense quiet as the day's light simply fades away.

A completely different mood to this new gem Richard, love those blues, almost a traditional landscape, it has a peaceful quality to it. Well done!

I like this a great deal, Richard! It feels crisp...like the earth is still soaked in cold morning dew. A great use of cool colors!

Re: Weekly paintings Southwest & Florida

My brother in law and his wife took a vacation to Australia & sent us a postcard of the Katoomba Escarpment & Megalong Valley so I decided to try and do a painting of it.

12x16 Chroma Interactive acrylics applied in a "dry brush" process on 225lb heavy linen paper with big brush.

Re: Weekly paintings Southwest & Florida

Congratulations on the sale of this big painting! So excited for you! You must be thrilled! I'll bet the new owners are, too, because this is beautiful.

I love this painting from the Australian postcard. You've truly captured the colors and the glow of the sunshine in this. Well done!
