Thanks brissie ... I was a bit rusty after all that time off so I'm not feeling that this was my best work ... but I hope the next one leaves me feeling better.

So, have you already decided on your next piece, or are you still working on that? Just curious since I prefer a break between pieces (a few days) before I decide on my next one. It's like, despite the fact that I'm not as good as the rest of y'all, I'm emotionally wiped out when I finish and need a day or two or three to recharge before I consider the next thing I'm going to try to do. Just wondering how the master handles the in between periods.

I'm the same as you Kelli .. it takes me a week and sometimes more to get over the emotional upheaval of finishing a piece. But one thing that helped was so many people wanting a tutorial on how I do cat eyes so that was in the back of my mind for awhile. But I also decided I would try one of my grandfather as a young man in the 20s. I have a very good photo of him plus my memories - although I only knew him when he was much older, of course ...

Just look at how chatty I've made you in just a few weeks! WHEE!

tttthhhhsssspppppppssstttttttt!!!!!! Unfortunately, Ken, you can't take all the credit. My dermatologist has me on a steroid taper right now for a psoriasis flare, and the stuff tends to make me just the tiniest (major understatement) bit hyper. I tend to come out of my shell quite a bit during my stints on prednisone. I also tend to annoy everyone around me. Don't mean to, but it's hard to not when I'm almost coming out of my own skin with the urge to do something, ANYTHING. I've got 3 more weeks of this taper, so y'all have plenty of time for the annoying to kick in.

Unfortunately, the taper makes it hard to sit and draw...that's too much of a sedentary activity. I tend to need to be moving around...a LOT...when on prednisone. Okay, time to shut up now.
