Last night Huub was kind enough to pose for our group. He kept his guitar in his hand and would sometimes play and sing during the modelling session.
As usual I made a charcoal portrait with some white pastel on grey paper before the coffee break. Instead of working with ink as I usually do I made a Nero pencil portrait of him after the break.
The size of each portrait is app. 30 * 42 cm and each took me about 40 minutes.
I personally like the pencil one better than the charcoal version.
Comments as usual appreciated.

I like the charcoal best. Very good expression and glasses as well.
