A new sketch of an old house

Just working on trying to develop my own style, and to portray what I am seeing accurately, if only in a simplified way.

9 by 20 inches on paper.

Good composition. Real fine detail on the house and convincing color overall on a complicated scene.

Fantastic work, really like the long composition! Good luck in developing your style, I stopped trying to build a style and now just focus on the edge control that I like.

Re: A new sketch of an old house

I believe that you simplified the scene but there is still lots of wonderful detail in this this. It is a picture that is fun to explore. Gary
