I too like this one. The style looks precise, everything in the perspective, light, and detail strikes me right.
To my reading, the partially transparent figures strike me as time-corrected, er, um -- that is, the stone buildings and the iron lamp and all are opaque, and hence "permanent". Last forever, practically. The couple is literally just passing through, and so transparent. But the happiness of the occasion is "permanent" in that their joyful faces are rendered opaque, the bridal bouquet is "permanent", and (nice touch!) their clasping hands are "permanent".
Just my reading on this, of course. Evocative work.
