Weles, I like your game and style, we were on the same train.....
Kay, original misfit. Nifty.
cobblestone, clever with the kitty and your sling is so cute.
Fusciart, wow on Marilyn
Tresgatos, happy to not ride your bicycle!
ronsu18, lovely gesture on the acrobat.
rafa, your sketches make me smile. Fun.
Amy, great misfit, in my world anyway.
Federico, boy, hadn't seen a sling shot in years.
Ron, clever idea for sling and well drawn.
Potters, mmmm, your sling looks good enough to drink.
Weles, you were thinking old times.

I sketched in the big book with a Prismacolor 005.

Sling .. softball pitchers sling the ball with a very controlled sling. :-) Sorry for the blurry photo. Fixing it for my blog.

Day 19: Sling. This is a direct copy from an old Mother Goose book illustration by Arthur Rackham. I think my baby looks a little more worried than Arthur’s, probably because it has less faith in being slung precariously from a tree.

The paper got wrinkled because, grandchildren, you know.

Re: INKTOBER 2019: For participants and followers!

So great to see so many participating!

This is for "sling" - her belt brought that to mind for whatever reason. Acrylic ink with dip pen, ruling pen for the white ink (messy, next time I'll just try a wide chisel nib), and some ink wash.

From a photo in my collection.

Re: INKTOBER 2019: For participants and followers!

Great works by everyone.

ronsu18 - looks like we've had the same idea.
Tresgatos - that's an adorable dog
VanAndrew - lovely image, nice colours.
monarch - nice picture, hmm grandchildren - I don't do art when they are around
fusciart - I love the towering Goliath
llawrence - very expressive lines, good job
kay - that's a really loving image, nice.
jo - you've captured the effort the pitcher puts in
cobblestone - poor teddy! He's still smiling though
Weles - great interpretation of sling
potters - like it, I'll have one

Here's Day 20 - Tread (courtesy of Nasa - Apollo 11)......
