Very nice. It's an interesting technique that almost has the look of stained glass with those heavy black outlines. What software did you use to create this?

I love doing digital work, its a lot of fun. I have not mastered it though. lol You did a great job.

This is great!! I have started dabbling in digital art, I have Painter X but I haven't gotten that good at it--this is really cool would love to know how you did it.

This is really good - I like the fact that you've used the technology and emphaised its qualities as opposed to mimicking more traditional techniques as is usually the case. Bright, bold and very beautiful - hat's off to you.

I used the pentool to draw most of it. That's really a great tool what gives perfect lines, even if you draw with the mouse. I don't think Painter has that tool though, Photoshop and Illustrator do.
I used self-made brushes for the feathers.

Yes, without a tablet the feathers would take me weeks!
Everything else is possible with the mouse too though.
I have a Wacom Cintiq, a second monitor where I can draw directly on the screen. It works great.
