Thanx Mike - Is a so called waycross (shrine)
In the time bevor simple people couldn read (300 years ) - the build some of them on all junktions - each different (different sharp , different Saints....) it was helpfull for navigation , meeting point

Love this!...wonderful wash of watercolor pigment...excellent depth, with the detail exactly where it needs to be...I really like this vignette...LOVE!

Good question : The owner of the property - mostly the farmer , or the villagers - at the of Feast of Corpus Christi they decorate it with flowers of the Season
