Wow, Kate, I thought you were a foxy lady but the leopard is just stunning. I love it especially the luminosity in the eye.

April 23, 2018 at 1:04 pm #606739This is beautiful. As others have mentioned, the eye is extremely good. It’s not easy to paint an eye that looks this.
I’m also noticing that you used washes. That’s something I’m working on with a barn owl I’m painting. Marialena told me to try using washes and that’s what I’m working on right now. I’ve been looking at the work of others to see better how it should be done.
