New Mexico Clouds - 18x24- repurposed.

Chroma Interactive acrylics applied quickly with palette knife in a loose impressionistic style. NM has the most beautiful and fast moving clouds I've ever seen!

Beautiful work! I love those earthy, rustic colors on the ground - it feels untamed. The clouds are wonderful!

SW Monsoon Super Cell Storm - 18x24 Chroma Interactive acrylics applied quickly with palette knife- super cell storms can develop quickly and become very dangerous very quickly. Winds can develop in a tornadic fashion and rain can fall in many many inches perhour, turning dry river beds into raging rivers in a matter of minutes! Very, very dangerous storms!

Having lived in the AZ desert for 7 years, I've seen several super cell storms!!!

Yikes, that storm means business! I'd not want to see that barrelling toward me. Great work on the sense of energy and danger in this painting, Richard. Looks so intense!

Like the SW Monsoon. Very much like the rain arrives. :-)
