Border Town

14x10 watercolor on Stonehenge 140 lb hot press paper, an imaginary scene done yesterday while in the southwest on a brief trip. The hot sun is a major player in these border towns along with the dust and a lot of people out shopping.
C&C welcome

Re: Border Town

Nice one. Putting the people in mid-ground was an inspired choice. It has the point of view, and field of view that creates the feeling of being there rather than an omniscient overview.

Re: Border Town

You can feel the hazy heat and hustle of every day life here. I love the colors, even down into the shadows - makes the scene pop with life.
