Lifeclass portait

Done in 1 session in a lifeclass, gessoed hardboard 60 by 50 centimeter, Van Gogh oil paint and a bit of zestit brush cleaner/dilutant. Sketchy as there was no time to bring this further. walter

Re: Lifeclass portait

I think I'd have no trouble identifying that person, from among others in a room full of people. This assumes that everyone in the Netherlands does not look alike.

So, the painting is a success! I see that it is 60x50 cm size, which is quite large. Extra credit for painting that much, in so little time.

Nice. Always like your muted palettes. Quietly intense.
