Your business card is --

I'm making new business cards for my online store and it brought back memories of the first time I saw this guy - Joel Bauer's -video. I'm not one for rotflmao but all this years later it still had me rotflmao.

OMG! I haven't laughed that hard this week yet. Thank you! Man, that guy was hysterical.

I actually agree with him to a point, but he was ridiculous.

I don't have an everyday business card. It's lettered pressed on cereal boxes. I'll scan one. in a minute.

I'm still laughing at that guy.

I blurred out my phone number because I'm a little weird about who I hand my card out to. Don't take it personally.

Re: Your business card is --

I bet your cereal box business card gets as much traction as Joel Bauers $4 card.

Simple and to the point is best. Your card does not sell your product; it is the relationship you have with your customers.

Re: Your business card is --

I was always making my own cards because I liked letterpressing. I used to have an antique Kelsey & Co table top press and made these myself for a long time. When we moved we got rid of all our letterpress stuff and it was really sad, but also like being free from all that lead! I still have an excess of cereal boxes though. Whenever I run out of cards, which won't be for years now, I'll just send them out to my friend who loves to letterpress and he'd probably do them for free. I still have this type set up in the rule. Easy. I like handcrafted things.

Here is mine for another project I am working on. We had a 'Don't know your neighbor? Mail her an egg campaign' which went mini-viral. The card was inspired by that :-)
